Moderate rain in parts of Rajasthan

The meteorological department in Jaipur reported light to moderate rain in several regions of Rajasthan over the 24-hour period ending at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, with Fatehpur in Sikar receiving the most rainfall at 41 mm.
It was reported that 15 mm of rain fell in Nagaur’s Jayal region in western Rajasthan.
The meteorological service has forecast mild to moderate rain and thundershowers in various districts of the state’s Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Bikaner divisions for the day.
It is expected to rain in Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions on Sunday.
On Friday night, the temperature ranged from 8.6 degrees Celsius (Karauli) to 18.6 degrees Celsius (Dungarpur).
From Sunday on, night-time temperatures in the state are expected to drop by two to five degrees.
