Injuries sustained in a snowplow accident required surgery for actor Jeremy Renner. According to a spokesman for the actor, Renner is still critically ill but stable and is being treated in an intensive care unit. According to reports, Renner was hurt in an accident on Sunday and had acute chest damage as well as orthopedic injuries. For his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Renner is best known. 

“Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, and others,” read a statement. “They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”

According to a public statement on Sunday, his family will be by his side as he receives care.
