“Flying” spiders from Japan might soon be prospering up and down the American east coast, according to US experts, but despite arachnophobes’ worries, it’s nothing to be concerned about. Joro spiders, which are native to Japan, have thrived in the United States. The joro spiders have been studied by scientists at the University of Georgia. They blend in nicely with the local environment, according to lead researcher Dr. Andy Davis. The climate on the east coast of the United States is quite similar to that of Japan. (AP)
