Today, Delhi is expected to register 20,000 Covid-19 cases, with a positive rate of roughly 19%, according to Health Minister Satyendar Jain. In the previous 24 hours, the capital saw 48 new Omicron cases, bringing the total to 513.
In the early hours of Saturday, Delhi and its surrounding areas saw severe rains and thunderstorms.On Friday, Delhi reported a significant increase in Covid-19 cases, with 17,335 new infections and nine fatalities. The city’s optimism rating has also risen to 17.73 percent.With the newest update, the total number of cases has risen to 15,06,798 and the death toll has risen to 25,136. The total number of active cases in the capital is now 39,873. On Thursday, Delhi recorded 15,097 cases, the majority of which were caused by the Omicron variety, as well as six deaths, for a positive rate of 15.34%.
