According to Brigadier General Hamid Vahedi, unilateral sanctions placed against Iran over the last 43 years have been a boon to the country’s Armed Forces, particularly the Army Air Force. On the third day of his official tour to Pakistan, he made the statements during a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart on Tuesday. The commander of Pakistan’s air force stated that his country is committed to expanding and broadening its collaboration with Iran. He emphasised that the Iranian and Pakistani air forces had achieved significant advances in a variety of areas. General Babar also underlined his commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan, which he describes as “brotherly.”
