While the #T20 World Cup 2022 is meeting expectations and is expected to have an exciting conclusion on November 13, #cricket fans still have a lot to look forward to after the massive event in #Australia is over. The IPL 2023 mini-auction will take place in late December right after the T20 WC is over. The mini auction is scheduled on December 23 in Kochi.

The mini-auction for the 16th IPL season, which starts in just over four months, will be held in Kochi, not Istanbul or Bengaluru as had been previously reported. Numerous portals had previously stated that the BCCI was eager to hold the auction outside of India, but it appears that won’t be the case this time. The IPL 2022 two-day mega auction had already taken place in Bengaluru at the start of 2022. Thus, the IPL auction will be held twice in a calendar year for the second time by the #Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) this year.

It should be remembered that all 10 IPL franchises have until November 15 to submit their list of retained and released players. Who will be the players released by all ten teams has not been verified in any detail. On Tuesday (November 8), the former front-runner Delhi Capitals plan to release four more players, namely Shardul Thakur, KS Bharat, Tim Seifert of New Zealand, Mandeep Singh, and Ashwin Habbar (DC).

The #Shardul is a top-tier all-around player, but his cost presented a challenge. Hebbar, Mandeep, Seifert, and Bharat are the other individuals who are expected to be released PTI cited an IPL source for their statement. Other franchises, Likely to release Mayank Agarwal, Navdeep Saini, Shivam Mavi, Dushmantha Chameera, Manish Pandey, Romario Shepherd, Ajinkya Rahane, Aaron Finch.
