Injuries and property damage have been recorded as a result of the Texas tornado

          On Monday night, at least ten tornadoes were recorded in Texas.

According to the local fire and police agencies, a tornado ripped through Round Rock, Texas, Monday evening, causing injuries and destroying many houses and businesses.

Round Rock, approximately 20 miles north of Austin, police are encouraging citizens to avoid the highways.

The tornado blasted through a Round Rock strip mall, destroying a restaurant, a bank, and automobiles in Home Depot parking lot. A tornado was verified over Bryan, Texas, around 8:35 a.m. CDT, travelling at 40 mph. There were no fatalities or serious injuries recorded in Round Rock. Tornadoes have been reported in Dallas, Waco, Austin, San Antonio, and College Station, among other places.
