India reports over 67,597 new Covid cases

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday, India recorded 67,597 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
After nearly 32 days, India’s daily cases have dipped below one lakh on Monday.
The country’s death toll from coronavirus is currently at 5,02,874, with 1,188 additional fatalities, according to figures updated at 8 a.m.
The country now has a total of 9,94,891 active cases.
According to the ministry, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 96.19%.
In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has been reduced by 16,279 cases.
According to the government, the daily positive rate was 5.02 percent.
So far, the total number of doses provided in the country as part of the countrywide COVID-19 immunisation effort has reached 1,70,21,72,615.
