#PM Modi emphasized the importance of cooperation and asked for other leaders’ assistance in arranging future G-20 meetings. “The G-20 presidency of India is a rare opportunity to promote the nation’s benefits to the entire world,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement in which Prime Minister Modi declared that the country’s G-20 presidency, which represents the world’s 20 largest economies, belongs to the entire country and that there is a current global fascination with and attraction to India, which increases the event’s potential.

He underlined the importance of collaboration and requested all leaders for assistance in arranging the various G-20 events. According to PM Modi, the G-20 presidency would emphasize areas of India outside of the conventional major metropolises, as well as the distinctiveness of the country’s many regions. While noting that a large number of people will visit India during the year-long celebrations, PM Modi highlighted the prospects for promoting tourism and the local economies of the cities hosting the G-20 meetings.

According to the statement, Arvind Kejriwal of the AAP, Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSR Congress, Sitaram Yechury of the CPM, N Chandrababu Naidu of the TDP, and M. K. Stalin of the DMK were among the leaders of other parties who spoke at the meeting. According to the statement, a detailed presentation covering various areas of India’s G-20 agenda was also made. Amit Shah, the Home Minister, and Nirmala Sitharaman, the Finance Minister, both made brief remarks.

Union ministers Rajnath Singh, S. Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi, and Bhupender Yadav also attended the meeting.
