India has seen a modest increase in daily Covid-19 cases, with 4,575 new infections reported in the previous 24 hours

According to data issued by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, the Covid-19 situation in India remains under control, with the country recording 4,575 new cases of coronavirus and 145 deaths in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall death toll to 5,15,355. (March 9, 2022). There are 46,962 current cases.
In the last 24 hours, the active Covid-19 caseload has decreased by 2,986 cases.
Today, the country registered 7,416 recoveries, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,24,13,566.
The national recovery rate for Covid-19 is 98.69%. The daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.51 per cent while the weekly positivity rate was 0.62 per cent.
