In the United States, a three-year-old boy murders his mother while playing with a pistol

            According to authorities, a three-year-old American kid accidently shot and killed his mother while playing with a pistol in the Chicago suburbs on Monday.

The catastrophe, which is all too often in the United States, occurred on Saturday evening in the parking lot of a supermarket in Dolton, a Midwestern city’s suburb.

The toddler was seated in the backseat of a car, with his parents in the front. He got his hands on his father’s revolver without anybody knowing how.

The youngster “began tinkering with it in the automobile The youngster pulled the trigger at some stage”, Robert Collins, the chief of police in the area, told AFP.

Daejah Bennett, his mother, was shot in the back of the neck. She was transported to a hospital in Chicago, where she was declared dead.

Collins said the father was taken into jail as police examined whether he had the pistol lawfully and whether he should face prosecution.

The fatality is only one in a long line of such mishaps.
