In the last 24 hours, India registered 5,921 new instances of the novel coronavirus, as well as 289 fatalities from the infection

          According to statistics released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (March 5), the country experienced a total of 11,651 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.65% and total recoveries to 4,23,78,721.

According to ministry data, the overall number of current COVID-19 cases in India has dropped to 63,878 (0.15 percent).

The country’s overall death toll is at 5,14,878. The first fatality from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.

Today’s daily positivity rate is 0.63 percent.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 77,19,14,261 samples were tested for COVID-19 as of March 4. On Friday, 9,40,905 of these samples were analysed.
