As the broader business dealt with pandemic effects, including a chip shortage, Britain’s Rolls-Royce Motor Cars reported record annual sales of its luxury status symbol automobiles on Monday.Sales of the German-owned luxury automobile increased by nearly 50% to 5,586 vehicles, setting new highs in most areas, including the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Greater China, as well as other countries across the world.The new ‘Ghost’ coupe and the 2.6-tonne, 350,000-euro Cullinan SUV fueled demand.

In a statement, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chief Executive Torsten Muller-Otvos commented, “2021 was a wonderful year for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.”In every worldwide market, there has been record demand for all items during the last year.

Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce is ready to unveil Spectre, the company’s first all-electric vehicle.
