In New Delhi, the French Minister of Foreign Trade talks with Indian industrial leaders

On Thursday, Franck Riester, French Minister of Foreign Trade, met with Indian business executives to discuss how France might welcome more Indian enterprises.
“Min @franckriester met with Indian business leaders to discuss how France can welcome more Indian enterprises. France’s pro-business policies, top European FDI destination status, and benefits as a gateway to the EU market were emphasised by the Minister”, Emmanuel Lenain, the French Ambassador to India, tweeted.
Earlier, Riester met with Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal to discuss ways to strengthen France-India trade and investment ties.
Riester will be in India for two days from March 10 to March 11. He is also planning a trip to Bengaluru.
