In India, there are 2,568 new Covid cases, somewhat more than yesterday, with 97 deaths

            India has recorded 2,568 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, a 65-case increase over Monday’s total. The total number of Covid cases in the country since the outbreak began is 4,29,96,062. There have been 97 deaths in the previous 24 hours, bringing the overall number of deaths from the viral sickness to 5,15,974.

According to the most recent official data, current Covid-19 cases account for 0.08 percent of overall infections (33,917). While the daily positivity rate was less than 1% (0.37), the weekly positivity rate was 0.46 percent.

Since yesterday, a total of 4,722 patients have recovered, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,24,46,171. According to the government, the current recovery rate is 98.72 percent.
