Last year, Volvo planned to debut its first fully electric SUV, the Volvo XC40 Recharge, in India. The Volvo XC40 Recharge is a small SUV that is built on the Compact Modular Architecture platform. It has a new 78kWh battery pack under the hood that drives two electric motors with 402bhp and 660Nm of peak torque. It can go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in only 4.9 seconds, with a peak speed of 180 kilometres per hour.
