In India, 8,013 Covid cases and 119 fatalities in 24 hours; the daily positive rate has dropped to 1.11 percent

On Monday, India registered 8,013 new COVID-19 cases, a 22% decrease from the previous day.
As a result, India’s daily coronavirus cases fell below 10,000. In addition, the country recorded 119 additional fatalities, according to figures from the Union Health Ministry.
The number of active cases has increased to 1,02,601, while recoveries have increased to 4,23,07,686. The daily Covid positive rate has dropped to 1.11 percent.
So far, India has administered 1,77,50,86,335 vaccination doses.
In light of the lowering number of COVID-19 cases, the Kerala government removed various restrictions at the state on Sunday and decided to allow 100% occupancy in theatres.
The state government’s ruling permitted taverns, hotels, restaurants, and theatres to operate at full capacity.
Meetings and training can also be held offline in the government and private sectors if necessary, according to the decree.
