          On Thursday, some MPs from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s governing party withdrew their support for him ahead of a no-confidence vote, raising more doubts about the former cricketer’s ability to retain power.

Several legislators from Prime Minister Imran Khan’s governing party in Pakistan have withdrawn their support. The news comes only a day after a prominent supporter warned Khan that he was in risk of losing his coalition allies. Khan is blamed by the opposition for mismanaging the country, economy, and foreign policy. No Pakistani prime minister has ever served his whole tenure. The combined opposition includes of significant groups such as the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), led by former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto, and has about 163 seats in the lower house.
