Honda has just registered a patent for its NT1100 sports tourer for the Indian market. The NT1100 tourer is based on the successful CRF1000L Africa Twin motorbike on the international market.

This touring machine’s major attractions are its long-travel suspension, DCT automatic transmission, and a variety of electronic safety devices and features.

While the filing of the patent does not ensure a launch, odds are that this touring model will be released in the market, especially given that the Africa Twin is currently on the market.

The motorbike is powered by a 1,084-cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is rated to produce 102hp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. may be ordered with either a 6-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual transmission, as well as an optional quick shifter

The Honda NT1100 is priced globally at £11,999 for the manual and £12,999 for the DCT. According to current exchange rates, this translates to 12.20 lakh and 13.22 lakh, respectively. It is somewhat less expensive than Honda’s adventure touring motorbike at this pricing.
