Near Ambala, about 200 artillery rounds were discovered.

On Friday, around 200 artillery munitions were discovered stashed in various abandoned bags in Ambala’s Mangalore Forest region.

According to Superintendent of Police Jashandeep Singh Randhawa, they received information about some suspected bomb-like things in the Mangalore Forest region near Shahzadpur in Ambala.

“When police arrived on the scene, it was discovered that these are artillery projectiles used by armed troops.

There were 232 artillery rounds of all shapes and sizes, and a bomb disposal crew has been notified to dispose of them”, SP went on to say.

“An FIR has been launched under The Explosives Act, and the marks will be reviewed to determine whose unit these artillery shells were given to”, Randhawa added.
