The festival of colours has here. Every year, people look forward to celebrating Holi with their friends, family, and loved ones. It falls on March 18 this year. Every year, Choti Holi is celebrated a day before Holi to commemorate Lord Vishnu’s rescue of his disciple, Prahlad, from the clutches of the demon king Hiranyakashipu and his sister Holika. Holi is a festival of colour, lighting, enjoyment, and togetherness.
Holi is also associated with a plethora of delectable foods and beverages. Holi-specific thandai and bhang are well-known over the world. This day also sees a large number of homecomings from those who are stationed in other places for employment or study. This is the day when everyone gathers to play with colours and eat a lot of food.
