Gulmarg hits by 3.8 Richter earthquake on Thursday

            On Thursday, an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir. Around 12:45 p.m., tremors were observed in Kashmir.

The National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.8, Occurred on 10-02-2022, 12:45:21 IST, Lat: 34.91 & Long: 74.30, Depth: 20 Km, Location: 96km N of Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir”.

Tremors were detected earlier this week in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pangin, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). There was no immediate word of any deaths or property damage.

P.S. At 11.27 a.m. on February 6, an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale struck near Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand.
