Finland and Sweden are stepping up security collaboration, according to the Finnish Interior Ministry

            Interior Ministry of Finland: Finland and Sweden are looking to strengthen bilateral security cooperation in the face of a changing security situation in the area. As part of his visit to Helsinki, Swedish Justice and Home Affairs Minister Morgan Johansson will meet with his Finnish colleague, Krista Mikkonen, later in the day. The parties will talk about ways to improve bilateral cooperation in civil preparation, rescue services, police operations, and coast guard operations. According to the ministry, the two nations would extend their collaboration in civil preparation matters relating to the EU and NATO in 2021.
