Details about the Indians stranded in Ukraine’s emergency hotline. According to a ministry source, the MEA is focusing on the protection and safety of Indians in Ukraine, particularly students. Due to the shutdown of Ukrainian airspace, alternative evacuation routes are being implemented. To deal with the crisis, sources said the Ministry of External Affairs’ control room is being extended and made open 24 hours a day. Indian nationals still in Ukraine have been urged not to travel to Kyiv, according to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine. After Russia started a full-fledged incursion into Ukraine on Thursday, they recommended them to stay put in secure regions.
