Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is the subject of a 30-foot-long monument built by his supporters. The $600,000 sculpture is 5 feet 9 inches tall and depicts what appears to be a billionaire’s head mounted atop the body of a goat riding a rocket.
The monument was created by Canadian metal artists Kevin and Michelle Stone and is composed of aluminium. Elon GOAT Token ($EGT) conceptualized and ordered the work. They plan to give Musk the statue on November 26 at his Tesla office in Austin, Texas, according to reports.
$EGT stated in a statement, “The majority of people believed we would never pull it off, yet after a year of construction, Elon must now receive it. Really, all we want to do is meet the man and give him the gift. He is, after all, the most creative person alive, making him the GOAT, or Greatest Of All Time.” The statement continues, “In honor of Elon Musk’s tremendous accomplishments and dedication to cryptocurrency, we constructed him a $600,000 monument on the back of a semi-trailer.” While this is going on, some users are already abusing the pay-for-verification mechanism that Elon Musk formally introduced after becoming the new CEO of Twitter.
