Several current and former European leaders have written to the Norwegian Nobel Committee requesting that Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022, that the nomination process be extended until March 31. “We sincerely request that you, the Committee, consider: Extending and thereby re-opening the Nobel Peace Prize nomination procedure until March 31, 2022 to allow for a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for President Zelensky and the people of Ukraine,” the statement said.
