There was an earthquake in Sikkim’s Yuksom, which took place around 4.15 am. 

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers from 70 km northwest of Yuksom. “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.3, Occurred on 13-02-2023, 04:15:04 IST, Lat: 27.81 & Long: 87.71, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 70 km NW of Yuksom, Sikkim, India,” the NCS informed in a tweet. 

An official bulletin said an earthquake measuring four on the Richter scale hit central Assam on Sunday. In Sikkim, no loss of life or damage to property was reported. The quake was held at 4.18 minutes. The center was in Naogaon district on the south bank of the Brahmaputra river. The national center said it was for seismology.

Six days after the earthquake, life is still under the rubble. In the meantime, Turkey has shaken once again. The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale on 4.7. Rescue work is also going on. The death toll is soaring in Turkey and Syria. The death toll in the two countries has reached 35,000, and injuries are more than 87,000.
