Earthquake In Chennai: Mild Quake In Chennai’s Anna Salai, No official Conformation Still

Still, there is no official confirmation that it was an earthquake. Currently, have surfaced that mild tremors were felt in Chennai on Wednesday morning; there was a triggering panic among residents of several buildings on Anna Salai and Whites Road.

As per the report, there is no metro work in that area because sometimes tremor occurs. Further, the National Seismological Center shows that Chennai did not reportedly experience an earthquake. 

The head of the South Zone of the Meteorological Research Center, Balachandran, said, “the National Seismological Observatory in Delhi has been informed that there has been an earthquake in Chennai. Such data has not yet been made available by the Center” he said.
