Much has been said and written about and return as their versions of Spider-Man in Marvel and Sony’s blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home. And, if Andrew has his way, the three could just come back for more in the future.
In a recent interview, Andrew stated that he would not only be open to shooting additional Spider-Man films with Tobey and, but that he would ‘love to’ do it. Andrew discussed resuming his role as Peter Parker as Spider-Man in future films on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. ‘I am very open to continuing forward with the role.’ Again, it would have to be something incredibly unique and distinctive, both for the viewer and for the character. There’s something amusing, one-of-a-kind, unusual, and surprising to be done. “I’m not sure what it is, but if we can figure it out, it’ll be a lot of fun”, he remarked.
The actor also stated that he would like to return because of the brotherly dynamic he, Tobey, and Tom bring to the film. ‘I would love to continue working with Tobey and Tom’, he added. That type of three-brother scenario is very interesting.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the most successful film of the epidemic period, grossing more over $1.6 billion worldwide. The Jon Watts-directed film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 release schedule (MCU).
The film incorporates Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Men into the MCU via a failed multiverse-fracturing magic spell cast by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). It also features villains from Tobey and Andrew’s previous works, such Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans.
