Despite the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, China refuses to supply Russia with aviation parts

1 min read

China has refused to supply Russian airlines with aeroplane components, according to Interfax News, quoting a Russian Aviation Authority official. Boeing and Airbus have already ceased deliveries in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine; now, a suspension by China might have a significant impact on the sector. Thousands of people have died in the war’s third week, and over two million have fled the nation.

Meanwhile, Valery Kudinov, a Rosaviatsia official in charge of maintaining aeroplane airworthiness, told the News Agency that the Kremlin was now searching for options to acquire components from countries such as Turkey and India following an unsuccessful attempt to purchase them from China. He also claimed that Russian firms are increasingly registering in Russia in order to evade Western sanctions.
