According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), high winds are expected in Delhi today. The lowest temperature on Monday is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperature reaching 23 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, the lowest temperature was 7.5 degrees Celsius, which was one degree Celsius below usual, and the highest temperature was 22.2 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of year.

On Monday morning, Delhi’s air quality was rated as bad. The air quality index (AQI) per hour was 300 at 7 a.m. The average 24-hour AQI was 278 on Sunday, putting it in the bad category. According to the meteorological department, an active western disturbance is expected to deliver extensive rainfall to the northern plains and snowfall between February 2 and 4.
