Daily Covid-19 cases in India increase by 4,362

India recorded a further decrease in Covid cases on a daily basis. In a 24-hour period, there were 4,362 new illnesses and 66 new fatalities, according to the Union health ministry on Monday morning.
India reported 5,476 new Covid infections and 158 fatalities on Sunday.
The latest deaths bring the total number of deaths in the country to 5,15,102.
According to the ministry data, the number of current Covid cases has been lowered to 54,118, accounting for 0.13 percent of the country’s total positive cases.
The recovery of 9,620 patients in the previous 24 hours brings the total to 4,23,98,095. As a result, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.67%, according to the Union Health Ministry on Monday.
