There is a discussion going around since covid-19 vaccine arrived, is taking covid shots really change the timeline of Menstrual cycle??
The answer is , On Wednesday researchers published an analysis of 4000 women throughout their six menstrual cycles and as a result they found out there has been changes with date of their menstrual cycles but the days of their period cycle remained the same.
Dr. Alison Edelman of Oregon Health & Science University led this research she said “This is incredibly reassuring,” and to inform women’s who are facing irregular periods after getting covid shots.
Dr. Edelman said that this change may occur because when the immune system revolves up at certain times in the cycle, “our body clock or what controls the menstrual cycle can have a hiccup.”
Dr. Christopher Zahn of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists said in a statement, findings provide “important new evidence underscoring that any impact of the Covid vaccines on menstruation is both minimal and temporary.”
