Coronavirus pandemic: 11,499 new cases reported in India, with a positive rate of 1.01 percent and 255 fatalities

In the last 24 hours, India registered 11,499 new instances of the novel coronavirus, including 255 fatalities as a result of infection.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday (February 26), the country had a total of 23,598 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.52% and total recoveries to 4,22,70,482.
According to ministry data, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has decreased to 1,21,881 (0.28 percent).
The country’s overall death toll is at 5,13,481. The first fatality from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 1.01 percent.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 76,57,35,314 samples have been tested for COVID-19 as of February 25. On Friday, 11,36,133 of these samples were analysed.
