Conflict in Ukraine-Russia: India demands an immediate end of hostilities in Ukraine

TS Tirumurti, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, also asked member nations not to politicise the humanitarian action in Ukraine. India has dispatched 90 tonnes of supplies to Ukraine, including medicines and vital relief items. Russia postponed its resolution on Ukraine’s humanitarian crisis on Thursday, instead calling for an emergency meeting to discuss US bio-laboratories in the nation. “Permit me to emphasise the need of humanitarian action being governed by humanitarian aid values such as humanism, neutrality, impartiality, and independence”.
