Chetan Sakariya says that his dream was to play under CSK Captain “MS Dhoni”

            Playing under MS Dhoni is a dream for many, and ex-Rajasthan Royals star Chetan Sakariya is no exception. Days before the IPL super auction, the young left-arm bowler revealed his desire to play for Chennai Super Kings.

Sakariya, who praises CSK skipper MS Dhoni, believes his game will improve if he plays under Dhoni.

“My life was altered by the recent auction. My ambition is to play for MS Dhoni. He has aided several bowlers in their development. And picking his brain and seeing him prepare can help me take my game to the next level”, Sakariya stated to News9.

“Dhoni is a bowler’s dream, and playing and learning under him will be strange. If given the opportunity, I would want to play under him. But, of course, I’ll give my all to any team I join”.

Dhoni is undoubtedly the most successful IPL captain, and it is every youngster’s desire to play under him.

Sakariya, who was called up to the national team after a strong IPL season, recalls his experience in the Indian dressing room during the Sri Lankan visit.

“The first time I entered inside the Indian dressing room, I felt like a kid entering his dream house”. I was the youngster that was carefully monitoring everyone’s preparations, body language, and so on. I knew I had to wait for my turn, but I made sure to observe and learn from the veteran players. “They were all really kind”, Sakariya said.
