CCTV Footage shows three men were shot in a road rage near the Red Fort

Delhi: The police stated today that three men were hurt after being fired at by a gang during a road rage incident near the Red Fort area in north Delhi. The injured have been named as Aabid, Aman, and Difaraz. The police added that they had injuries to their leg, thigh, and back and were being treated at a hospital where their condition is stable. The police say that the event occurred on Monday night while Mohammad Shahid, a motor parts supplier, was riding his two-wheeler home after dinner with his wife.

When he got close to his residence in the Angoori Bagh neighbourhood, two men on a two-wheeler travelling in the opposite direction accidentally brushed past Mr. Shahid’s car, causing minor damage. This resulted in a dispute between them, and Mr. Shahid requested that the two guys fix his vehicle. The local people kept them on hold, but in an effort to escape the situation, the men started firing. According to the victim, they fired five shots, one in the air and four aimed towards the villagers.

According to the police, the incident, which was filmed on CCTV cameras, assisted them in identifying the accused and establishing the sequence of events. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi stated that a case of attempted murder (307) under the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act has been filed.
