With a 79-60 victory over Puerto Rico on Wednesday night, Canada has secured a place in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup semifinal. Canada took their Group Phase success—4-1—into the knockout stage. They jumped out to a 26-11 lead against Puerto Rico after the first quarter and never looked back, going on to lead by as many as 25 points.

They will compete against Team USA, who have won their last 28 games in the competition. With 145 points versus South Korea, they recently broke the World Cup record for most points scored in a game.
