Seven Indian Army servicemen have been confirmed deceased after an avalanche devastated a high-altitude region of Arunachal Pradesh’s Kameng Sector. The dead have been recovered, according to the Indian Army. The Army men who died were part of a patrolling squad when they were caught in an avalanche on February 6. For the past few days, the high-altitude region has been experiencing severe weather and significant snowfall. Previously, specialized teams were called in to help with the search and rescue efforts.
