An earthquake strikes southern Iran, causing vibrations in the United Arab Emirates.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reported a 5.0 magnitude earthquake near southern Iran early Thursday. Tremors were felt around the UAE, including Dubai and Sharjah, according to social media users. Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain also experienced tremors.
