Amritsar: 173 mor passengers from Rome tests Covid positive

          According to the airport’s director, more than 170 of the 285 passengers on a chartered flight from Rome that landed in Amritsar on Friday tested positive for Covid-19 upon arrival.

This comes a day after 125 of 179 passengers who returned to the city on a chartered flight from Italy’s capital were determined to be infected.

In Amritsar, 160 passengers on a chartered aircraft from Rome were examined. 125 people are Covid Positive.

VK Seth, director of Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, provided data, stating that “173 of the total 285 passengers who returned from Rome, Italy, tested positive for Covid-19.” As testing continues, the number of afflicted travellers may rise. Euro Atlantic Airways operated the flight, which was chartered by SpiceJet.
