The camp would be held in residential areas of Noida by six members from the city government. The ‘Noida Pet Registration App,’ which was introduced last year, has just 156 pets enrolled. The registration fee is Rs 500, and it must be renewed every year. Residents can also use this app to report pet litter in public places or other types of disturbances. “Since the debut of the app last year, just 156 dogs from Noida have been registered on the app, which is a very low figure,” Husana Praveen, coordinator for the programme from the Noida authorities, was reported by Hindustan Times as saying.
