According to Reuters, using data from a flight monitoring firm, a plane associated with Chelsea football club owner and Russian businessman Roman Abramovich has landed in Moscow.

The plane took off from Israel and made a brief stop in Turkey on its way to Russia, according to FlightRadar24 data.

According to Reuters, Abramovich, who also has Israeli and Portuguese passports, was spotted at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport on Monday.

Last week, the UK sanctioned him for his links to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The European Union has followed suit.

Abramovich has stated that he has no close relationships to Putin.
