A building falls near Kashmiri Gate, trapping some people; the NDRF is called in

On Monday, an under-construction building on Nicholson Road near Kashmiri Gate in Delhi fell. According to the Delhi Fire Service, six to eight persons are believed to be trapped.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) were dispatched.
Sagar Kalsi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North, said a PCR report was received about the building fall on Nicholson Road, and that local police, fire personnel, and DDMA employees responded quickly.
The rescue mission is in full swing. “Eight people have been rescued so far, all of them were construction workers”, he added.
