According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Services, four persons were murdered, two of them were children, after Russian soldiers bombarded a residential structure near Kharkiv during the night (SES).
The incident is said to have taken place in the hamlet of Slobozhanske in Ukraine’s south-east.
According to the SES, a five-year-old child who was hurt was brought to the hospital for treatment.
Rescuers are likely to continue searching for corpses in the rubble today, they added.
Separately, a commercial centre in Kharkiv’s core was set ablaze by shelling, although no deaths were recorded.
