30,757 new cases reported in India; Death toll increased by 541

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday (February 17), the country experienced 67,538 discharges in the past 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 98.03 percent and total recoveries to 4,19,10,984.
According to ministry data, the overall number of current COVID-19 cases in India has dropped to 3,32,918.
The total number of deaths in the country is currently 5,10,413. The first fatality from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 2.61 percent.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 75,55,32,460 samples were tested for COVID-19 as of February 16. On Wednesday, 11,79,705 of these samples were examined.
