30,615 cases reported in India and death toll increased by 514

In the last 24 hours, India registered 30,615 new instances of the novel coronavirus, as well as 514 fatalities from the infection.
According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday (February 16), the country experienced a total of 82,988 discharges in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total recovery rate to roughly 97.94% and total recoveries to 4,18,43,446.
According to ministry data, the overall number of active COVID-19 cases in India has dropped to 3,70,240.
The total number of deaths in the country is currently 5,09,872. The first fatality from the COVID epidemic was recorded in India in March 2020.
Today’s daily positivity rate is 2.45 percent.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 75,42,84,979 samples were tested for COVID-19 as of February 15. On Tuesday, 12,51,677 of these samples were examined.
