25,920 new cases of Covid registered in India, which is 4,837 lesser than yesterday

            According to the latest data from the health ministry, India recorded 25,920 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, approximately 4,800 less than the previous day, 492 fatalities, and 66,254 recoveries in the previous 24 hours.

The number of active cases has now risen to 2,92,092, with a positive rate of 2.07 percent. There have been 4,19,77,238 recoveries in all.

As specialists predict that India’s Omicron wave is winding down, the country registered 30,757 new cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 4,27,54,315, and the recovery rate to 98 percent. The death toll has risen to 5,10,413 with 541 daily fatalities, according to figures updated at 8 a.m.

For the previous 11 days, the daily COVID-19 case count has been fewer than one lakh. The number of active cases has decreased to 3,32,918, accounting for 0.78 percent of overall infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.03 percent, according to the health ministry.

The recovery rate recently exceeded 98 percent on January 5, when it reached 98.01 percent. The current caseload has been reduced by 37,322 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the report. According to the health ministry, the daily positivity rate is 2.61 percent, while the weekly positivity rate is 3.04 percent.
