After India began evacuation efforts for Indian residents residing in Ukraine and its surrounding territories, about 242 Indian students returned safely to India at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport, where they were reunited with their parents.

India has deployed Dreamliner B-787 aircraft to carry out this particular operation, which has resulted in flights from Kharkiv, Ukraine, to New Delhi becoming operational. This comes after India recommended students and people to leave the country for a short period of time. Meanwhile, due to increasing uncertainty and anxiety, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv has announced more flights from Ukraine. “More flights are being planned”. “Four flights from Kyiv to Delhi will fly on February 25, February 27, and March 6, 2022”, according to the government.
