New Delhi: A federal health ministry official said on Wednesday that India had recorded its first COVID-19 fatality associated to the fast-spreading Omicron form in the western state of Rajasthan.
The number of Omicron cases throughout the country has now climbed to 2,135, according to an official speaking to a small gathering of media in New Delhi.
